Recognising that rural development is about more than economics, we combat isolation and support wellbeing through initiatives like our co-created befriending programme. We act as a connector, partnering across sectors to leverage shared resources.
Our work is built on a proven rural development approach. We create place-based, community-led projects that celebrate local identity, improve wellbeing, and reduce isolation. Through strong collaboration across sectors, we focus on building the long-term social, cultural, and emotional resilience of Somerset’s villages and communities.
