At Social Circles CIC, we've been reclaiming gardens since our launch in April 2022, aiming to provide the health and wellbeing benefits of outdoor living to those who may otherwise be unable to access them.

What started as a small pilot in Bridgwater quickly gained traction, with self-referrals and community group recommendations driving our expansion. Today, we're on-site three to four days a week across several Somerset towns, offering not just gardening services but acting as a gateway to broader support, from financial advice to mental health resources. Our model is adaptive, focusing not just on garden reclamation but on long-term solutions, ensuring that every individual we assist gains lasting benefits.

Over the past year, our impact has been profound, touching the lives of 185 adults and 58 dependent children across 152 Somerset households. From creating safe outdoor spaces for families to fostering a deeper connection with nature, the testimonials speak volumes about the transformative effect of our work. As we move forward, our commitment remains unwavering: to continue refining our approach, capturing data to evidence our impact, and collaborating with our community to build a brighter, more inclusive future.
